Reading some of the things that people post on Tumblr make me feel bad for being a cisgendered white woman/having preferences in whom I’m attracted to/shaving my legs/any number of other things, because if I really supported the societal issues that I do in fact support, then I would have no preferences about anything except a blinding wish for social justice.

I love you, Tumblr, and I know you have good intentions. But sometimes you make me feel like a jerk for things that I shouldn’t feel like a jerk about and that sucks.
